Moss Systems · Nashville, TN

Practical hardware.
Intelligent production.

Moss Systems develops modular hardware and the software behind more adaptable manufacturing. We operate Rackify, our equipment-mounting product business, and are developing RACK-01, a standardized platform for increasingly automated production.

What we build

Physical products and the systems that make them.

We design products, manufacture them, learn from real operations, and use those lessons to develop better production systems.

  1. Modular hardware

Device-specific mounts, rack panels and accessories, designed around real equipment dimensions and produced with polymer 3D printing.

  2. Production software

Tools that connect product design, print preparation and order fulfillment, built first for our own production and refined in daily use.

  3. Manufacturing-system development

RACK-01 explores standardized rack-based production modules, coordinated by software and automated in stages. It is in development.

Our work

One business operating today. One system in development.

Operating product business

Rackify

Rackify designs and sells 3D-printed equipment mounts, rack panels and related hardware for homelab and small network racks. Products include mounts for mini PCs and networking equipment, blank, vented and fan panels, and side mounts for small homelab racks.

Each mount is designed around a specific device and produced by material-extrusion 3D printing, with PETG used for current mounts. Rackify is how Moss Systems ships physical products to customers today.

RACK-01

A modular, rack-based manufacturing system and the software that coordinates it, developed in stages with human oversight.

The program is exploring standardized production modules, integration of printers and supporting equipment, material handling, quality monitoring, and progressively automated workflows. It is not an operating factory, and its configuration is still evolving.

Built from hands-on production

The tools come from doing the work.

Every Rackify order runs through the same loop. The friction we hit in that loop — fit questions, print failures, repetitive handling — is what our software and RACK-01 are meant to reduce.

  1. DesignModel a mount around a specific device.
  2. PrintProduce parts by material-extrusion 3D printing (PETG for current mounts).
  3. Finish & packClean up, check fit, package and ship each order.
  4. LearnFeed fit issues, failures and repetitive steps back into design and tooling.
